We think of the skin as an organ that contains us, keeps things in. But no less does it let things out. It’s in fact a primary organ of elimination. It’s a major exit for wastes and toxins. What you eat will be reflected in your skin’s condition. Toxins your body can’t metabolize or dispose of otherwise will be purged through the skin, often leaving pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, age spots and other blemishes.
Starting a Fashion Shop – Things to Consider
For a fashion lover, starting a fashion shop is as exciting as buying new clothes. But if you look keenly at its other side, the apparel business is one of the toughest types of business and you have to work very, very hard. There are various matters upon which you have to do a lot of homework, like your previous experience in the clothes industry, your passion about fashion, location of your shop, finding a wholesale clothing company, and many more.
Location of Shop
This is perhaps the most crucial factor while planning to start a cloth shop. If you have to spend too much on rent, you cannot carry on with your business overheads and you will have to keep your prices high. Resulting will be drifting of your customers to other shops. On the contrary, if you open the shop in a not-so-well-known location because of low rent, the chances become rare that your shop will attract customers. So also, your shop should be better surrounded by other shops which are related to your business. For example, if your fashion shop is surrounded by shops of auto parts, it can hardly attract potential customers for clothes.
Study of the Local Market
It is important for you to study the local market. If you start selling high-end exotic clothes which are not used by the local population, your business may be a failure. You will have to study the local trends carefully. Also you can observe other cloth shops in the area and their marketing strategies. This may also help you in finding out the needs of local populace the shops of which lack in the area.
Wholesalers
You cannot stick to one single wholesaler, if you want to offer variety to your customers. Find many providers to keep a wide range of fashions in the shop which will suit the needs of local demographic. You will also have to make sure that the sources are dependable. You can also set connections with local fashion designers who may not have thought to make their profession very big.
Promotional Strategies
When it comes to promotion of any business, it depends on individual imagination and there are innumerable ideas. One of them may include an inaugural fashion show, on which you can invite people when you can serve refreshments and ensure that the local media are well aware of the event.
Stay in Tune with Trends
Once you are successful in your business, don’t be satisfied with the success. Remember that fashion is an ever-changing faculty. So you will have to study the trends continuously and present the newest trends to people. You can also introduce new fashions and make them popular. It is very important for you to become innovative enough about fashions and only then you will gain a long term success in your fashion shop.

Vintage is all the rage right now. Clothing and accessories are going more toward old styles. Pearls are making a stronger appearance as they did in the 60’s. Actresses like Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews wore them in some of the big movies of that time.
Look like a Gentleman – Men’s Accessories
Women adore accessories and perhaps they are not absolutely sure would they spend more money on a bag or a coat. On the other hand, men are usually not so interested in buying any decorative items. However, no matter what age or style a man is, there are some necessary accessories that every man should possess. The list might be broaden, but really essential items are a solid colored tie, wrist automatic mens watches, cufflinks, black (and/or brown) leather belt and sunglasses.
Can You Really Tell a Man’s Personality by His Shoes?
There’s an old notion that you can tell a lot about a man by the shoes he wears on his feet. Is it judgmental? Yes. Does it work? The jury’s still out on that one. Shoes are probably the single most important fashion accessory that we wear. Just like your clothes, your shoes show off your personal style and fashion sense. They also protect your feet, which is the important part. Since shoes are such a big part of our wardrobe, they must hold some kind of deeper significance, right? Perhaps they do. Let’s explore.
Taking Care of His Appearance
Shoes are an extension of your personal grooming and appearance. If you place a lot of emphasis on looking polished and put together, you probably wouldn’t wear mud-covered sneakers in public. If a man cares about the way he looks, including his shoes, he wants to look his best. In this way, his shoes can give some clues into his personality. If he isn’t concerned about dirty or beat up-looking shoes, he doesn’t place too much importance on looks. Although this could also mean two totally different things: that he doesn’t care at all about how he looks, or he just realizes that there are more important things so he doesn’t want to try too hard.
Where is He Going?
Men can wear many different types of shoes. They can wear boots, dress shoes, sneakers, sandals, loafers, and a host of other styles. They’re all appropriate for different occasions. If you want to judge a man by his shoes, you need the context of where he is or where he’s going to when he’s wearing them. It wouldn’t be fair to judge them without that knowledge. If he’s wearing dress shoes to the mall, he might care a little bit too much about how he looks. If he wears boots everywhere he goes, he doesn’t have much of a concern about style. If he’s wearing sneakers at the gym, that’s a good thing.
His Shoe Closet
If you happen to get the opportunity to peak into a man’s closet and see all of his shoes, you can get some rare and valuable insight. If a man has many different pairs of shoes, it could mean he’s overly concerned with appearance, or that he likes to be prepared for any occasion. If all he owns are sneakers, he might be competitive, a fitness buff, or he might prefer comfort to style. The range of his shoes could signify the range of his personality. A diverse collection could mean he’s a deep person, while a limited collection could mean he’s simpler.
The Bottom Line
When you consider it, a man’s shoes don’t really reveal much about his personality. The only thing they tell you about is his fashion sense, and you can’t tell what type of person he really is by his style. Lots of men aren’t too astute in the fashion department, so try not to judge their personalities by their footwear.
