Curvaceous small women surely need to stretch their body with the help of their clothing style for minimizing the bulkiness. This is the usual rule for women who are petite in their figure. There are some necessary tricks that you should follow in order to cover up the mistakes of a figure not belonging to skinny and long model like giraffe.

1. Your intention is to extend your body. The most common and frequent mistake made by petite women when it comes to clothing is parting their bodies by making use of different clothes like belts and jackets in inappropriate proportions. It is not a good idea to wear huge belts on pants or skirts along with different colored blouses since it parts the body in two parts and this draws attention towards figure shortness.

2. Petite women shouldn’t wear additional fabric around their waist. Petite women already have a pretty good amount of bulkiness around their waist and by wearing extra fabric you will be adding some more volume to your waistline.

3. It is a false belief that long skirts make your legs look longer. Long skirts make your legs look even shorter. But you can wear long skirts if the length of skirt is up to your ankle and the pattern of skirt is straight.

4. A good idea to stretch your legs is wearing pants which cover your shoes. By wearing such pants you can add some additional inches to the legs.

5. Petite women are allowed to combine colors but you should remember not to mix too many colors, mixing of colors should be limited to only 2 to 3 colors, which will make you slim and tall.

6. Thick fabric clothing should be avoided since they bring additional weight to your figure.

7. Wearing vertical line patterned clothing is the best technique to extend your body. But remember not overstate it, otherwise you will look like a zebra. You can wear a pair of jeans pant with vertical line in the seams and this will make you look taller. You should avoid wearing multiple vertical lines or combining two apparels with lines style.
