Fashion world never stays the same, it always keeps changing, and it may not be easy to keep up with the latest trend sometimes. Luxurious fashion houses release new range every season with a new range of patterns, themes, trends and colors. Regular stores at some malls also bring new range of clothes for every season, and they are often influenced by the high-end fashion boutiques. Though it might be very difficult to keep up with changing fashions, it lets every season to bring interesting and fun latest additions to your collection. The fashion world has released some interesting trends for 2012 and they are as follows:
Peplums: One of the must have trends of this season are peplums. It can be anything, a peplum blouse, peplum dress or a peplum skirt, this style has been the main part of attraction of catwalks this year. Designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Vera Wang and Zac Posen all displayed designs that included peplum accents.
Pastel Colors: Pastels were the biggest style on the runway this year. Yellows, pinks and baby blues were displayed on the catwalk of this year. Clothes, purses and shoes included pale sorbet and light blue colors. Designers such as, Narciso Rodriguez, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy and Oscar De La Renta all displayed their models in pastels and light colors. This trend has been utilized by many clothing retailers and stores such as Forever21 are now showing clothing in shades of pastel.
Color Blocking: Color blocking is a style which has been existing in fashion since last year, but it is expected to be there for the spring of 2012 as well. This trend involves wearing bright items as a combination. For instance, bright red shirt may be worn with a purple skirt. Color blocking has been featured in the collections from Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger.
