Provocateur Quality Dance Inspired Shoe Line to be Brought in by Madonna

Along with the launch of her debut perfume, Madonna has also announced development into the category of footwear, with a line of dance inspired trends to launch for 2012 fall. The new shoe line comes under the Truth or Dare label of the singer and will be produced by Aldo Group Inc, a Canada headquarter.

With prices ranging from $89 to $350, the first range includes more than 60 styles, including booties, heels and flats. Dance impact come in the category of cap-toe and stud details. While Arianne Phillips here stylist is creative consultant, Madonna has had the main input on this new series of shoes.

Phillips told “her fingers are actually on this brand”. The first thing she did was remind her of all types of shoes she put on over all these years, and then they took the style that they can’t live without. Arianne also said, one can always rely on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, she also has a perspective, which is very feminine.

Nordstrom and Macy’s of US, The Bay of Canada and Selfridge of UK are the main retailers supporting the launch of footwear. The brand is expected to spread into European countries including Spain and France for 2013.

The extension won’t just end there, since Madonna seems set to follow the footsteps of the fashion moguls like Jessica Simpson who has her own unique lifestyle brand with more than 20 products.

Along with shoes, the Dare or Truth brand will attempt into intimates as well later this year and the discussions regarding legwear and other accessories are going on for 2013. The label is targeted at women of 27 to 50 years age, compared to the clothing line Material Girl launched in 2010 by Madonna in collaboration with her daughter Lourdes, aiming at youngsters.
